Hours:
Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Children's Nest Learning Center is seeking a qualified, dependable, and energetic teacher to join our team for the afternoon/evening shift. This position works with multiple age groups and is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with children of all ages while creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities include:
Providing quality care and supervision for children in multiple classrooms as needed. Engaging children in fun, age-appropriate activities, play, and learning experiences. Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom and building environment through daily housekeeping duties. Assisting with classroom transitions, end-of-day routines, and ensuring children are safely dismissed. Working collaboratively with fellow teachers to provide excellent care for every child.
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children in a childcare or early childhood setting is preferred. Dependable, positive, and flexible with the ability to work with multiple age groups. High energy with a passion for interacting, playing, and building positive relationships with children. Ability to lift and carry children as needed and remain active throughout the shift. Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
