About us Piedmont Child Care Center in Upperville, VA is a non-profit center serving up to 82 children, ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Established in 1984, we strive to provide high quality education and care to the children of our community. Teacher Assistant Full Time Teacher Assistant needed as a Floater in all classrooms, Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm. Responsibilities include assisting the Lead Teacher in carrying out lesson plans and implementing the daily program. This includes supervising and playing with children, helping with cleaning, diapering, mealtimes, and carrying out lesson plans. Must be comfortable working with any age group. Must have experience in a child care setting, as well as knowledge of early childhood development. CDA or other formal education preferred, but not required. Must be reliable, patient, calm, and love working with children. Benefits available after trial period, including medical insurance and paid time off. Weekends/Holidays off.
