Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards. Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through innovative lesson planning and activities. Manage daily classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and transitions to ensure a positive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs related to special education or early intervention services, and foster strong home-school connections. Incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education activities, and age-appropriate assessments such as standardized testing to monitor developmental milestones. Support toddlers' care needs by providing nurturing supervision and implementing best practices in childcare and daycare settings. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, child observations, progress reports, and incident documentation to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and quality standards. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare environments; prior classroom management experience is essential. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, special education practices, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development methods including other early childhood educational frameworks. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, colleagues, and community partners. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math skills, physical activities, and social-emotional learning. Certification in early childhood education or related fields preferred; relevant coursework or training in special education or toddler care is a plus. • Maintain a neat appearance (dress code).
• Be energetic, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Establish positive relationships with children and their parents.
• Provide Christian behavioral guidance.
• Identify individual learning styles and encourage positive skill development.
• Identify learning difficulties and bring to attention of principal for additional help.
• Train and supervise all aides and volunteers assigned to you.
• Always maintain a positive and Godliness atmosphere for children, parents and staff.
• Have Daily Schedule/Weekly Lesson Plan posted, to include but not limited to: a.

Activities that go from inactive-active-inactive-etc. b. Implement A BEKA program according to Curriculum Standards c. Implement Bible Curriculum/ Praise and Worship / Prayer Time d. Implement High Reach/Carson-Dellosa and Living Inside Out (S/A) Programs for Afternoon e. 1-hour outdoor activities weather permitting f. No more than 2 hours sleep/rest period

• Ensure a smooth transition between activities.
• Provide Progress Reports and offer conferences quarterly for each child.
• Make sure classroom is decorated to support academic learning and supports social skills.
• Maintain Ratio at all times.
• Make sure classroom and restroom is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Clean and sanitize restroom twice daily (mid-shift and end-of-day).
• Spot-check restroom following each use.
• Ensure tables are cleaned before and after all meals and projects.
• Sanitize all toys weekly and mouthed toys daily.
• Close down room at end of shift:
• Take out classroom and restroom trash and place new trash bags.
• Refill water pitcher and place in fridge.
• Sanitize and label children's cups (infants, toddlers and 2s only) for next day's use.
• Leave classroom tour-ready for next day (toys, games, activities, cubbies and teacher's area organized, etc.).
• Provide a Safe and Healthy Environment for children by maintaining the center's policy and procedures on but not limited to:
• Hand washing
• Napping
• Playground and Classroom Safety
• Soiled Clothes
• Proper Supervision
• Daily Health Screening
