Job Description

Lead Pre-K Teacher (Full-Time) - Starting August 2026 Cascade Bilingual Learning Center - Burlington, WA Cascade Bilingual Learning Center is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and nurturing Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our team beginning August 2026. We are a bilingual early learning center committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where all children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Position Details Start Date:
August 2026 Full-Time Monday-Friday Pay based on education and experience Professional development opportunities Supportive team environment Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum for preschool-aged children. Create and maintain a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities. Maintain daily classroom routines and schedules. Communicate effectively with families regarding children's progress and daily experiences. Keep Brightwheel documentation and classroom records up to date. Ensure compliance with DCYF licensing regulations and center policies. Collaborate with administration and fellow staff members to support the needs of all children. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. ECE education, credentials, or relevant experience preferred. Previous experience working with preschool-aged children. Ability to independently lead and manage a classroom. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Ability to pass a background check and meet all DCYF requirements. Fluent in both English and Spanish (required). Experience working with children with special needs, developmental delays, behavioral challenges, IEPs, or IFSPs is highly preferred. Skilled in behavior guidance and classroom management. Comfortable adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse developmental needs. Able to communicate effectively with both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking families. A strong team player and classroom leader.
