Preschool Lead Teacher at a brand new Reggio-Inspired School Join our warm, community-focused team as a Lead Preschool Teacher at a new Reggio-inspired school opening this fall in Everett. You will create an engaging, nurturing classroom where children feel valued and supported while fostering curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. You will collaborate with families and colleagues to develop meaningful learning experiences that respond to each child's development, interests, and ways of learning. Teachers receive professional support through mentorship, weekly paid planning time, and ongoing professional development. Responsibilities:

Create a welcoming classroom environment that promotes trust and respect Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members Observe children closely and use those observations to guide curriculum planning Design engaging experiences that encourage inquiry, creativity, collaboration, and independence Collaborate with colleagues during weekly planning and reflection Communicate effectively with families about children's development and classroom experiences Support social-emotional development through responsive guidance Participate in school meetings, professional development, and program growth Follow Washington State DCYF licensing requirements and school policies

Qualifications:

Minimum of two years of experience working with young children in a lead role Knowledge of child development and high-quality early childhood practices Experience with or interest in the Reggio Emilia approach Strong written and verbal communication skills Emotional responsiveness, dependability, flexibility, and professionalism Collaborative and reflective approach to teaching Ability to meet all Washington State licensing requirements for the position

Pay and Benefits:
