Responsibilities:

• Create and implement weekly lesson plans/curriculum covering all areas of child development. . Communicate and engage professionally and meaningfully with parents, staff members, and children to provide quality care.
• Ensure the classroom remains clean, safe, and culturally appropriate to support the developmental needs of children, in compliance with WAC regulations.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Foster positive guidance and demonstrate effective classroom management skills.
• Lead enrichment activities for students in afternoon if choose to work full-day.
• Support mealtime food distribution, monitoring, and clean-up.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a lead teacher or in a similar role in an early childhood setting.
• Must be 18 years or older and has the required certifications or willing to renew (e.

g., CPR/AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, Food Handler, Background Check).
