Experience:

Prior experience working with your applied age group (infant, toddler, preschool, or school-age) required Experience in a licensed child care or early learning center required Comfortable implementing a structured curriculum with creativity and consistency Experience with a brand-new or start-up center opening is a plus, but not required Must be able to work independently and confidently with little to no direct supervision at times, while also collaborating closely as part of a team

Educational Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Must meet all WA Licensing (WAC) requirements for teaching staff at the applied age level Current or ability to obtain required WA state clearances, background check, and fingerprinting Current immunization records that comply with WA Licensing regulations (WACs) Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)

Job Knowledge/Skills:

Genuine warmth and patience with young children, and strong communication with families Ability to plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities in line with our curriculum standards Understanding of classroom safety, supervision, and WA Licensing (WAC) health and safety practices Basic computer/tablet comfort — you'll use an app for daily logs, attendance, and curriculum Willingness to pitch in wherever needed as we get the building fully open — this is a brand-new school, so flexibility and a team-first attitude go a long way in the beginning Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable giving and receiving feedback

Schedule:

Full-time positions available; opening and closing shift options Monday-Friday, with the ability to work a flexible schedule as needed during our opening phase Exact hours vary by classroom/age group assignment. Part time positions are available.

Compensation:
