Full-Time Infant Teacher Ages:

4 weeks-12 months

Lacey, WA 98503 We are seeking a nurturing, dependable, and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our early learning team full-time. This position focuses exclusively on the care and development of infants ages 4 weeks to 12 months . The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, loves working with babies, and is committed to creating a safe, loving, and responsive environment for our youngest learners.

Responsibilities:

Provide responsive and loving care to infants, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and comforting Follow and support individualized infant routines for sleep, feeding, and play Assist with curriculum implementation including sensory, language, and motor skill activities Observe and document infants' growth, developmental milestones, and daily routines Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment Communicate daily with parents regarding their child's experiences, routines, and well-being Build positive relationships with infants, families, and fellow staff Follow all licensing regulations and center policies consistently

Requirements:

Experience working with infants or young children in a licensed childcare setting preferred Understanding of infant development and best caregiving practices Clear, kind, and professional communication skills with both children and adults Must be completed at time of hire (or within 1 week): State background check & fingerprinting Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification Bloodborne pathogens training Food Handlers card Negative TB test & MMR vaccination Must complete within 90 days of hire: 30-hour Basic STARS training

Warm, calm, and patient personality with a genuine love for infants Reliable, organized, and proactive in maintaining classroom safety and cleanliness Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude Familiarity with WAC regulations and early childhood best practices

Pay & Schedule:

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, no weekends
