Full-Time Toddler Teacher (Ages 1-2.5 years)

Location:

Olympia, WA 98503 We are seeking a nurturing, energetic, and reliable Toddler Teacher to join our early learning team full-time. This role focuses on supporting the growth and development of toddlers aged 12 months to 2.5 years old. The ideal candidate has a passion for early childhood education, understands the unique needs of toddlers, and thrives in a playful, hands-on learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed specifically for toddlers Facilitate engaging circle time, sensory play, and interactive learning activities Support toddlers' emotional regulation, language development, motor skills, and independence Observe and document each child's developmental progress and daily activities Provide individualized care including diapering, potty training support, and soothing routines Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment Communicate regularly and warmly with parents about their child's growth and daily experiences Build strong, trusting relationships with toddlers, families, and co-teachers Follow all licensing guidelines and center policies consistently

Requirements:

Experience working with toddlers or in a childcare setting (preferred) Understanding of toddler development and responsive caregiving practices Clear and kind communication skills with both children and adults Must be complete at time of hire (or within a week of hire): Background check & fingerprinting Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification-In Person Bloodborne pathogens training Food Handlers card Negative TB test & MMR vaccination Must complete (or be willing to complete within 90 days): 30-hour Basic STARS training

Pay & Schedule:

$18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (No weekends)
