Lead Childcare Teacher Little Lambs Child Care•Appleton, WI Little Lambs Child Care is seeking a warm, dependable, and engaging Lead Childcare Teacher to join our small, Montessori-inspired licensed in-home childcare program. We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with children, values respectful communication, and can confidently lead a mixed-age group in a calm and nurturing environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating meaningful connections with children, encouraging independence, and maintaining a structured yet loving atmosphere. Position Details Small group setting (maximum of 8 children) Mixed age group 2-4 years old Montessori-inspired approach Independent lead teacher position No assistant scheduled during shifts Responsibilities Provide active supervision and ensure child safety at all times Create a calm, positive, and engaging classroom environment Lead daily routines including meals, toileting, outdoor play, rest time, and activities Implement simple Montessori-inspired activities and hands-on learning experiences Communicate respectfully and positively with children Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare environment Follow Wisconsin DCF 250 licensing regulations and program policies Build positive relationships with families and communicate professionally with parents Encourage independence, kindness, and social-emotional development Qualifications •

BE 18 YEARS OF AGE MUST HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVILENT MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND INSURANCE MUST HAVE A CURRENT WISCONSIN REGISTRY PROFILE AND A MINIMUM LEVEL 3 MUST HAVE CURRENT INFANT/TODDLER CPR/AED
