Job Description
Are you looking for a rewarding, well-paid part-time job? Join the Heart of Brooklyn family as a Preschool Teacher, teaching in the morning and providing wraparound care from 7:00 a.m. to noon. We are seeking an experienced, kind, creative, and energetic educator who enjoys helping young children learn and grow. This position runs through June 5 of the current school year, with the possibility of continuing in a part-time or full-time role, to be discussed during the interview. What You'll Do
- Plan and lead engaging daily lessons and play-based activities using the Lillio curriculum, which helps reduce preparation time and lets you focus more on the children.
- Teach early literacy, number skills, and social development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom.
- Communicate with parents about each child's day and progress.
- Help children learn to share, show kindness, and solve simple problems. What You'll Need
- Background in early childhood education.
- At least two years of experience working with young children.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
- A warm, patient, and joyful approach to caring for children.
Pay:
