Little Adventures:
Rio, you'll play a central role in shaping young minds during one of their most important stages of growth. In this role, you will create a nurturing, play-based learning environment that supports children's development socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. You'll also lead by example—mentoring assistant teachers, partnering with families, and working collaboratively with the entire team to deliver high-quality care and education.
Job Description:
  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to engage students
  • Positive and encouraging interactions with children of all ages
  • Ensuring the health, welfare and safety of children at all times
  • Engaging in positive communication with parents/guardians
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with other staff members
  • Willingness to learn new technology and navigate our childcare app to give parents real-time updates.
  • Creating an environment that encourages educational goals that line up with WMELS
  • Tracking students growth and abilities
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary classroom

Qualifications:
  • Primary Teacher Qualified (required)
  • Shaken Baby Certified
  • Knowledge of general child growth and development
  • High School or equivalent (required)
Center Supplies:
  • CPR Certification
Child Abuse and Neglect Training Bonus:
If you have kids we cover full tuition for one child!
Schedule:
10 hour shift 8 hour shift
Monday-Friday Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$15.50
