Knowledge of child development and classroom management techniques. At least 240 hours of experience in an early childhood setting (group center, licensed family childcare, or approved equivalent)CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Lead Teacher certification or state-required credentials (or willingness to obtain). Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a lead teaching role. Job Responsibilities Plan, implement, and supervise daily classroom activities Create nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environments Build strong, positive relationships with children and families Support play‑based, age‑appropriate curriculum (WMELS) Maintain a flexible, intentional, and engaged teaching approach Attend all required staff meetings and trainings Complete at least 15 hours of continuing education annually Ensure the best possible outcomes for each child's growth and development Additional Requirements CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass all required background checks Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with children throughout the day Join Our Growing Family If you are passionate about early learning and want to grow with a supportive, family‑oriented center, we would love to get to know you!
