•Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm for child development and education will inspire curiosity and foster a love of learning in every child. You will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum plans, managing classroom activities, and building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of children, including literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies Provide age-appropriate childcare for toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Communicate regularly with parents to share updates on children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Conduct child development assessments and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to support individual learning needs Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure all safety protocols are followed, including first aid and CPR procedures Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and early intervention strategies to support children with special educational needs Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is required; classroom experience is highly valued Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and special education practices Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and social skills Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred or required upon hire Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a nurturing environment for young learners Experience working with diverse populations of children, including those requiring additional support or special accommodations Join us in shaping the future by providing exceptional care and education to our youngest learners! Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
