This position requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to engage children in meaningful learning experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to encourage good behavior. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Support children with special needs or developmental delays through tailored activities and individualized attention. Experience Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles is essential. Skills in behavior management, classroom management, and effective communication with both children and parents are required. Experience with infant care or special education is a plus. Certification in First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided.
