Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare/Preschool Teacher to join our Early Childhood Education Team. This role involves working with children ages infant to 6 years of age. You will assist in providing daily care and direct supervision for the children while creating a safe, loving and educational environment. Responsibilities Provide active supervision to children during the day including playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and well-being. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Utilize effective classroom/time management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Engage in regular communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Foster social skills through group activities and guided interactions among peers. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and safety standards Follow all mandated Child Care Licensing Rules Qualifications Experience is not required. Applicant's must be dependable, patient and have a love for children. Applicants MUST be able to pass all required background checks. Ability to work on your own with your class and develop/apply time management strategies. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Sit on the floor, bend, twist and lift 20+ pounds. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
