In this role, you will create engaging activities, support developmental milestones, and ensure a safe, caring space for children from infancy through preschool age. Your passion for childhood development and commitment to quality care will make a lasting impact on the lives of the children and families you serve. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, learning activities, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and positive experiences. Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respectful interactions among children. Monitor each child's progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about developmental milestones and daily activities. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation practices. Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or behavioral concerns using effective behavior management techniques. Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles is highly desirable. Experience with classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills among young children is preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children, including those with special needs or disabilities. Strong communication skills for engaging with parents, guardians, and team members to support each child's growth journey.
