May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field. In some cases, psychology professors will perform therapeutic services.

Master's Degree Description Mount St. Joseph University's School of Arts & Sciences is seeking adjunct professors to teach face-to-face Psychology courses 2-3 days/week. Courses may vary by semester.
Responsibilities may include the following:
Course instruction Grading assignments Monitoring student participation Office hours Meetings with the Chair and/or faculty Adherence to department and university policies and procedures Maintaining open communication with students, staff, and faculty Maintaining the confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPA Ability to use technology in teaching
Qualifications Education:
Master's Degree with 18 graduate hours in the appropriate discipline.
Experience:
