Results Learning is hiring elementary reading interventionists to work one-on-one and in small groups with students who need extra literacy support. This role is a great fit for veteran educators looking for small group work, retired teachers, or anyone who wants to focus purely on teaching. Results Learning partners with schools across Colorado, Arizona, and Maryland to provide intervention, tutoring, and custom academic programming. This posting covers three openings at a private faith-based school in South Phoenix, Arizona. Applicants of all backgrounds are welcome and no particular faith is expected, but candidates should be respectful of the school's culture and values. Instruction takes place during the school day, one-on-one or in small groups. The school serves students from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including multilingual learners. Position Details Part-time, hourly, daytime reading intervention
Schedule:
2-3 days a week, 8:00am-12:00pm, about 8-15 hours per week Primarily elementary students, and potentially middle school students Anticipated start: November 2026, through April 2027; follows the school calendar
Pay:
$35/hour for instruction; $25/hour for planning, training, and consultation time What You'll Do Deliver targeted reading intervention aligned to classroom instruction, so students get consistent instruction between the classroom and intervention Break skills down to the phoneme level and build foundational reading skills through explicit, systematic phonics instruction Build trusting, encouraging relationships with struggling students while keeping professional adult-student boundaries Use Google Classroom for students, and keep school administration informed about parent communication Why Choose Us? Job Requirements Bachelor's degree Valid, current Arizona teaching certificate Prior experience teaching English Language Arts (ELA); strong ELA experience is essential for this role Strong skills in explicit, systematic phonics instruction Elementary-level teaching experience A friendly, patient, and encouraging presence with students Professionalism, maturity, and good judgment in a school setting Respect for the school's culture and values, and the ability to work effectively with students and families from diverse cultural, linguistic, and religious backgrounds Willingness to follow the school site's professional standards, including its staff dress guidelines Strong communicator with teachers and families Reliable transportation Available from November 2026 through March 2027 Preferred (not required) A literacy or reading certification in addition to a teaching certificate Experience with the Amplify curriculum Wilson Reading System certification or experience Orton-Gillingham or LETRS training Experience administering DIBELS assessments Experience teaching English language learners (ELL) Middle school teaching experience Results Learning is hiring three part-time elementary reading interventionists (possibly some middle school students too) to work one-on-one and in small groups at a private faith-based school in South Phoenix.
