This position serves students ages 4-8 , from beginning readers learning letter sounds and decoding to developing readers working toward fluency, comprehension, strong vocabulary, and expressive writing. Someone Who Loves:

Teaching children how to read Phonics, phonemic awareness, decoding, and word recognition Building reading fluency and comprehension Expanding students' vocabulary Teaching creative and descriptive writing Storytelling, read-alouds, and literature discussions Helping struggling or emerging readers gain confidence Creating fun, hands-on Language Arts lessons Working with students individually and in small groups Our Ideal Teacher You are enthusiastic, patient, creative, and able to meet children at their individual reading levels. You understand that children ages 4-8 may be at very different stages of literacy development and know how to challenge advanced readers while providing intentional support to children who are still developing foundational skills.
