Utilize evidence-based teaching methods to promote literacy, phonics, comprehension, and vocabulary growth. Assess and monitor student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, adjusting instruction accordingly. Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with educational standards and best practices in early childhood education. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect, and active participation. Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists (including special education and speech therapists), and administrators to enhance instructional effectiveness. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and developmental milestones through regular updates and conferences. Skills Proven experience teaching first-grade students with a focus on literacy education and classroom management. Strong understanding of childhood development principles, including behavior management strategies. Proficiency in integrating educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet varied learning styles and needs of young children. Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Knowledge of curriculum implementation standards, standardized testing procedures, and educational compliance regulations. Experience working with children with autism or other special needs is highly desirable. Skilled in lesson planning, student performance data analysis, tutoring techniques, and early intervention strategies.
