Retirement Matching Flexible schedule Training & development Hello! We are growing and have an in-person opening at our learning center in Germantown, WI. Training hours are flexible and start early May. You'll begin working with students in June during our summer semester. This is a year round position - we are not hiring summer only help. You must have a valid teaching license or related licensure (SLP/OT). Summer schedules are three days weekly (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday)for 15 hours total from 2:00 - 7:00 pm. This position continues into the school year. Two evenings weekly are required during the school year for a total of 10 hours weekly. We are preferably looking for teachers knowledgeable on dyslexia and differentiating instruction. We provide Orton Gillingham based training and all curriculum and materials.Description :
Are you passionate about helping struggling readers/spellers? Apply to join the READ Learning team as a dyslexia interventionist. We are a collaborative and professional group of educators that work one-on-one with students using Orton Gillingham teaching techniques. READ Learning provides all necessary training. This position requires 10 - 20 hours a week (year round) and a minimum of two evenings weekly during the school year. We work with students between the ages of 6 and young adult. Most of our students have dyslexia or dysgraphia.Requirements :
All applicants must either have a teaching license, other related licensure, or a certification in Orton Gillingham programming/teaching methods. Teachers work year round (including summers). During the school year, applicants must be able to work a minimum of two evenings each week and commit to a minimum of one year on the team after training. Applicants must be team oriented, collaborative, organized, and have excellent communication skills. Applicants must have previous experience teaching. Experience working in special education or speech and language pathology is not necessary, but preferred.Benefit Conditions:
