Position Description Summary Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for temporary faculty positions (full-time one semester, part-time one semester, or part-time academic year) for Sport Management as needs arise in the Department of Management. Duties Based on the specific needs of the department at the time of appointment, a successful applicant must be qualified to teach both undergraduate and graduate-level courses on campus and/or online in the following fields: Sport Administration and Sport Management. A master's degree in Sport Administration or Sport Management or a closely related field. Academic specialization, prior teaching experience, and/or prior professional experience relevant to course assignment needs of the department at the time of the appointment. Please indicate which program courses you believe you are qualified for. Demonstrated ability to work with and/or knowledge of diverse populations. Evidence of or potential for effective teaching. Professional qualifications specified in the Zeigler College of Business' policy for faculty qualifications.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A doctorate degree in Sport Administration or Sport Management or a closely related field is Candidates with experience and willingness to teach face-to-face and online are preferred. Completing this search is contingent upon student enrollment and available funding. Faculty may be assigned to provide instruction through distance education.
