This position will not only teach classes, but also assess current fitness programs, measure resident satisfaction, implement innovative fitness assessments, and foster collaboration between CC Young's Therapy Team and ongoing wellness initiatives. The nature of the program is to develop relationships with our residents to better encourage them to participate in their personal wellness journey. As such, this role should be divided approximately 50% toward teaching the classes and/or personal training, and 50% in an administrative & developmental role. The goal is to develop a nationally recognized wellness program that enhances the lives of our residents and serves as a model in the senior living industry. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Evaluate and enhance existing fitness programming to align with CC Young's robust wellness initiatives. Design and implement new, engaging, and resident-centered fitness assessments, classes and activities. Develop synergy between the CC Young Therapy Team and wellness programs to ensure a seamless continuum of care. Maintain continuity and support of The Point and Life Enrichment teams. Foster resident engagement through innovative programming that supports physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being. Track program participation, evaluate effectiveness, and continuously refine initiatives based on resident feedback and industry best practices. Recruit, train, and mentor wellness staff, ensuring high standards of service and resident support. Collaborate with marketing and community partners to promote CC Young's wellness programs and establish our brand as a leader in senior wellness. Develop and maintain policies and procedures for fitness center operations, ensuring compliance with industry safety and quality standards. Support CC Young's employee wellness initiatives in partnership with Human Resources. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include:

Educational background in Recreational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or a related field. Experience leading group fitness classes and providing one-on-one personal training. Personal Training certification is highly preferred. Rock Steady Boxing certification and/or other Parkinsons specific training is a plus. Demonstrated experience developing and managing successful health and wellness programs, preferably in a senior living or healthcare environment. Strong leadership and program management skills with the ability to innovate and drive engagement. Experience in employer/community engagement, project management, training, and mentoring. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to foster an inclusive and impactful wellness culture. Engaging personality!
