The qualified candidate should have at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with preference given to candidates with advanced degrees. Teaching experience, especially AP, is highly valued. Candidates should be passionate about education and excited about working in a small-school environment. The class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:20 to 4:45 and for 40 minutes one other day a week (with some flexibility). Approximate class size is one student, allowing the teacher to really focus on the individual student. School population is motivated to do well, and there is ample parental support for teachers when necessary.
