Science General Education Teacher | Denver, Colorado Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Denver, CO Job Details Full-time | Contract $30 - $50 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Teaching Certification Full Job Description Inspire curious minds and foster a lifelong love of science by working directly with energetic middle school students in an engaging onsite teaching assignment. We are seeking a dedicated General Education Science Teacher for a full-time contract role serving 6th-8th graders. This opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through May 21, 2027, making it ideal for those passionate about providing impactful instruction within a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching certificate required Experience in general education science for middle school-aged students Strong classroom management and communication abilities Enthusiasm for cultivating inquiry-based learning and critical thinking Ability to collaborate with fellow educators and adapt lessons as needed Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom community Only fully certified applicants will be considered (no pending or in-process certificates)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging science instruction to a classroom of middle school students (grades 6-8) Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards Assess student progress and provide feedback to support individual learning Maintain an organized, safe, and positive classroom environment Collaborate with teaching teams, support staff, and administration Actively communicate with students and families regarding progress and academic expectations Participate in school functions, meetings, and ongoing professional development This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' academic journeys and growth.
