Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School is seeking an experienced Biology Teacher for their high school students.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university FLDOE Certification in Biology 6-12 or Earth/Space Science 6-12 Another pathway to teaching: Candidates with a non-education bachelor's degree can apply to the FLDOE for a 5-year temporary teaching certificate with their official transcripts after successfully passing the FLDOE Biology 6-12 or Earth/Space Science 6-12 subject area exam. Please note salary is based on verifiable years of experience as per District guidelines. Our voters passed a millage in 2022 and all instructional staff, from zero to 19+ years of experience, will receive a supplement . The pay ranges based on years of experience, but for a teacher with 19+ years' experience, that's approximately an additional $8,266 (pay and supplement are prorated based on start date) in your pocket! This raises the overall compensation higher than our neighboring school districts!
