The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore the wonders of science, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking. This full-time position requires a commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles and promotes scientific inquiry. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state curriculum standards and foster student understanding of scientific concepts.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity and inquiry by encouraging students to ask questions, conduct experiments, and explore scientific phenomena.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and enhance the overall educational experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification for middle school science or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and the ability to convey them effectively to middle school students.
  • Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment for all students.
  • Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
