Determined by contract / experience Position Details Bloomingdale Middle and High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, promote critical thinking, and foster a love for science in students across grades 6-12. This role includes planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with state or Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), assessing student progress, and contributing to a positive school culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field. Michigan Teaching Certificate with science endorsement(s): DX, DA, DC, DH, or DP Demonstrated content knowledge in secondary science disciplines Develop and implement instructional plans for science courses that align with curriculum standards. Use varied teaching methods and technology to meet diverse learning needs Create a classroom environment that supports scientific inquiry, exploration, and respectful dialogue
