Upper School Science Teacher

Windham Woods School is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic Upper School Science Teacher to join our Upper School team. The position includes teaching science courses to students in grades 912, including Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, and/or Physical Science, depending on the candidates background and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Teach high school Science courses (e.g., Biology, Environmental Science, Physical Science
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with students and families
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and program development
• Incorporate experiential and outdoor learning into the curriculum
• Assess student progress and communicate effectively with families and staff
