Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional strategies to improve overall teaching quality. Support students' academic advising and mentoring needs, helping them navigate their educational journey in science subjects like biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and microbiology. Skills Strong knowledge of chemistry topics including organic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, and differential equations. Proficiency in mathematics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, and their application in scientific contexts. Experience with laboratory research techniques such as dissection and microbiology procedures. Ability to implement curriculum development strategies that meet educational standards and accommodate diverse learning styles. Skilled in classroom management techniques suitable for working with teenagers from varied cultural backgrounds. Familiarity with educational technology tools for lesson planning and instructional delivery; experience integrating IT into lessons. Excellent communication skills for effective instruction, student engagement, parent interactions, and teacher collaboration. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and experience preparing students for assessments. Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs and learning preferences. Experience working in private or Montessori school environments is a plus; familiarity with research laboratory settings is advantageous.
