Job Description Austin Peay State University is taking applications for individuals seeking Part-time instructor positions (adjunct) for the Department of Chemistry. This position is face-to-face/in-person teaching on the Clarksville campus. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will teach lecture and laboratory courses in introductory and general chemistry within the American Chemical Society-accredited Department of Chemistry. Physical Requirements Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Required Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher.
• Demonstrated success as a teacher preferred.
• A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
