Job Description

Riding Instructor & Ranch Mentor Reigning Grace Ranch | Scottsdale Full-Time | 35-40 hours/week | Tuesday-Saturday Reigning Grace Ranch is a Christ-centered ministry restoring rescued horses, redeeming lives, and cultivating hope—all for the Glory of God. We are seeking a passionate, experienced Riding Instructor & Ranch Mentor to join our growing team. This role combines riding instruction, horsemanship, youth mentorship, and ranch operations. The ideal candidate loves horses, enjoys working with children and adults, and has a heart for using horses and relationships to help people grow. Responsibilities Teach private and group riding lessons from beginner through intermediate levels Facilitate youth mentorship and equine-assisted activities Support adaptive riding and group programming Build positive, encouraging relationships with students and families Prepare, groom, tack, exercise, and care for lesson horses Assist with camps, field trips, events, and special programs Maintain tack, equipment, and a safe, clean, organized ranch environment Manage lesson scheduling, attendance, and basic student progress documentation Communicate professionally with parents, staff, volunteers, and leadership Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in equine work, riding instruction, youth mentorship, or a related field Strong horsemanship and safe horse-handling skills Ability to teach beginner through intermediate riders Experience working with children or youth preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, teachable, emotionally mature, and team-oriented Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in Arizona weather Must support the mission and values of Reigning Grace Ranch and agree to sign the Reigning Grace Ranch Statement of Faith Schedule Tuesday-Saturday | 35-40 hours/week Primarily afternoon and evening hours, with occasional extended hours for camps, events, and field trips. Pay:
