In this role, you will lead engaging classes that promote physical fitness, discipline, confidence, and respect. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a positive learning environment where students can develop their skills, improve their health, and achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities Lead martial arts classes for diverse age groups, ensuring instruction is engaging, safe, and tailored to individual skill levels Demonstrate proper techniques in martial arts disciplines such as karate, taekwondo, or other styles, emphasizing safety and precision Develop customized training plans that promote skill development, fitness, and confidence among students Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement and motivation Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols and behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress and achievements when working with children Organize and oversee special events such as belt tests, demonstrations, or competitions to showcase student accomplishments Qualifications Proven experience in martial arts instruction with certification or belt ranking in relevant disciplines Prior experience working with children and understanding of behavior management techniques Strong communication skills to effectively teach students of varying ages and skill levels Knowledge of sports-specific training instruction and coaching methods for martial arts or related physical activities Experience in sports coaching such as soccer, basketball, climbing or other team sports is a plus Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator), and basic life support required or willing to obtain prior to employment Background in physical education teaching or health club/gym experience preferred Ability to lead team activities confidently while fostering a positive environment focused on growth and safety Join us as a Martial Arts Instructor where your passion for fitness and teaching can inspire others to reach new heights!
