Position :
Recreational Children's Taekwondo Instructor at TumbleKick Studios, Studio City.
Pay :
Base:
$20/hr -$25/hr (depending on experience and teaching performance) Hours Available (Minimum 2 days / week):
Monday-Thursday:
3:00PM—6:30
PM Saturday:
9:45AM—1:30PM Additional hours for: birthday parties, special events, private lessons, and other functions as desired and fit (social media, emailing, etc.) What you'll do: Leading and collaborating in teaching children's (3-14 years old) Taekwondo classes.
Core activities include:
stretching, conditioning, practicing kicks and blocks, sparring, basic tumbling/gymnastics, and games. Refining curriculum and developing weekly plans. Checking students in / logging attendance, signing new clients up, managing member accounts, and other basic client service responsibilities. Collaborating with other instructors in planning and running fun, community-oriented events and special classes.
Requirements :
At least 1st-degree black belt in Taekwondo (strongly preferred) or a similar martial arts discipline. Ability to perform all taught techniques (e.g., sidekick, tornado kick) and take part in exercises with students.
Preferences :
Previous martial arts teaching experience. Working knowledge of tumbling, parkour, and/or gymnastics. Proficiency in Gmail and Canva.
