About us U.S. Tae Kwon Do AGAWAM is a growing Martial Arts business in Agawam, MA. We incorporate the art of Tae Kwon Do not only in our classes, but also extends into our Before and After School programs. Our goal is to help children grow in mind and body by providing safe and educational activities for students age ranging 6-13 under the guidance of well trained staff members. We are currently looking to hire 3 Assistant Group Leaders for the Afternoon shift (from 2-5 pm), Monday - Friday. This is an hourly, part time position. We are EEC licensed and work according to MA state law and EEC regulations, so a Background Record Check (BRC) is required by law. We look forward to adding you to our Agawam team.
Job requirements:
At least 18 years old Mass. Drivers License / State I.D needed Provide positive role modeling to members. Be able to attend staff meetings. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Have group leadership skills and understanding group dynamics in the classroom. Enforce classroom rules fairly to keep students safe. Must be able to squat or bend to communicate at youth level. Able to assist the Group Leader in supervising and engaging activities with the students in the classroom. Be able to work with students, age range from 6-13 years old. Have or be able to attain CPR and First Aid certificate in 6 months. Clean and organize classrooms as needed. Complete MA state mandatory EEC training within 3 weeks of hire.
