Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts and a commitment to teaching students of all ages and experience levels. This role involves not only instructing classes but also fostering a positive learning environment that encourages personal growth, discipline, and respect among students. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging martial arts lesson plans tailored to various skill levels and age groups. Instruct students in martial arts techniques, including self-defense, forms, and sparring. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain a safe and organized training environment, ensuring all equipment is properly used and stored. Promote discipline, respect, and teamwork through behavior management strategies. Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding class schedules, progress, and any concerns. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with martial arts trends and teaching methodologies. Skills Strong knowledge of martial arts techniques and principles. Experience working with students of various ages, particularly children. Background in physical education or health club environments is a plus. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a supportive atmosphere. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
