AIR® Ann Arbor is looking for an energetic, dependable, and engaging Kids Aerial Instructor to lead our growing youth programs. We're looking for someone who loves inspiring children, creates a positive learning environment, and enjoys watching young athletes develop strength, confidence, and new skills. What You'll Teach As a Kids Aerial Instructor, you'll lead a variety of youth programs including: AIR Kids 8-Week Sessions No School Day Camps Summer Camps Kids Drop-In Classes Private & Semi-Private Lessons Birthday Parties and Special Events (optional) Responsibilities Lead fun, safe, and engaging aerial classes for children of beginner/all skill levels. Build lesson plans that encourage progression while keeping classes exciting. Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment where every child feels successful. Ensure student safety while teaching proper technique and skill progression. Communicate professionally with parents before and after class. Arrive prepared and help set up and reset the studio before and after classes. Work collaboratively with the AIR® Ann Arbor team to deliver an exceptional experience for every family. What We're Looking For Our ideal instructor is: Passionate about working with children. Energetic, patient, encouraging, and positive. Dependable and committed to showing up consistently. Comfortable leading groups of children with confidence and enthusiasm. A team player with excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications While aerial experience is a plus, we especially value candidates with experience in: Dance Gymnastics Cheerleading Acro Circus Arts Youth Fitness or Physical Education Coaching or Teaching Children Commitment Our Kids 8-Week Sessions rely on consistency. We are looking for instructors who can commit to teaching an entire 8-week session , allowing students to build trust, confidence, and progress with the same instructor throughout the program. Schedule Requirements This is a part-time position .
