Sales at The Ski Monster is built around understanding the customer as well as understanding the gear. The right person will ideally have previous sales experience and a strong foundational knowledge of ski and/or snowboard equipment, but just as important is their ability to have a great conversation, ask the right questions, and adjust their recommendations as they learn more about each customer. Strong product knowledge is important, but so is the curiosity and adaptability to keep learning. Responsibilities Meet with customers on an appointment basis to assist with selection of product Ask questions and listen actively to sort out customer priorities Help customers select the right skis, snowboards and bindings for them Measure feet and assist with snowboard boots Mount and adjust ski and snowboard bindings Work as a team player to keep the shop running well Provide a memorable customer experience and establish relationships 25.0 Job Requirements Ski or snowboard enthusiast Strong people skills Communicate clearly and listen actively Reliable and punctual Nice to have Ski shop experience Previous sales experience ideal Experience with Retail, E-commerce, POS systems Schedule Full time and part time hours with weekend availability
