About Us Master Kim's Martial Arts is a family-centered taekwondo school with two thriving locations in the St. Louis area. We are dedicated to building character, confidence, and discipline in students of all ages. Our team loves what they do, and it shows in every class, every interaction, and every student who walks through our doors. About the Role We are looking for a passionate, energetic Taekwondo Instructor who leads with heart and teaches with purpose. You will plan and deliver engaging classes for students ranging from young children to adults, uphold our school's values in every interaction, and help build a culture of excellence on and off the mat. Requirements Black Belt in Taekwondo (required) Certification from a recognized Taekwondo governing body preferred (WT, ITF, or equivalent) Minimum 1 year of teaching or assistant instructor experience Experience working with children ages 3 and up strongly preferred Strong command of Taekwondo forms, techniques, sparring, and terminology Warm, encouraging communication style with students and parents Reliable, punctual, and professional in all settings Positive attitude and a team-first mindset Responsibilities Teach scheduled Taekwondo classes for youth and adult students Plan and deliver age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned lessons Maintain a safe, structured, and encouraging class environment Monitor student progress and provide motivating feedback Support belt testing cycles by preparing students and evaluating readiness Assist with after-school programs, summer camps, and special events Communicate warmly and professionally with parents and guardians
Pay:
$22.85 - $27.51 per hour
