Responsibilities Facilitate the rental process by processing cash transactions and operating POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently. Assist guests with equipment selection, providing clear instructions and answering questions to enhance their experience. Conduct manual handling and heavy lifting to set up, maintain, and store rental equipment safely. Ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times, including proper use of equipment and emergency procedures such as CPR and first aid when necessary. Manage conflict management situations professionally, resolving guest concerns promptly and courteously. Oversee outdoor work activities, including equipment maintenance, outdoor safety checks, and ensuring a secure environment for all visitors. Support event management efforts by coordinating logistics, assisting with setup/takedown, and ensuring a seamless flow of operations during busy periods. Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, guiding visitors through venue offerings, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements Previous experience in event venue management or outdoor recreation is highly preferred. Strong background in customer service, retail sales, or food service environments. Knowledge of safety protocols including CPR certification, first aid training, and proper manual handling techniques. Experience working with children or in hospitality settings is advantageous. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; basic math skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to manage conflict effectively and communicate confidently in public speaking scenarios.
