Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Robotics STEM Instructor to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers! In this dynamic role, you will lead engaging robotics and STEM activities designed to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning among children and youth. Your enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics will ignite young minds and cultivate a love for discovery. Duties Plan, organize, and facilitate robotics workshops, camps, and classroom sessions that align with curriculum standards and age-appropriate learning goals Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning atmosphere Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and engagement at all times Incorporate outdoor work when applicable to enhance experiential learning opportunities in real-world environments Implement first aid protocols and respond promptly to any minor injuries or emergencies using CPR or AED as needed Collaborate with team members to develop innovative lesson plans that integrate technology, creativity, and teamwork Support youth development by fostering positive relationships, encouraging teamwork, and promoting personal growth through STEM activities Skills Proven experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for working with children of various ages Experience working with children in educational or camp settings, including youth group activity facilitation Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols for emergency response Strong background in teaching or tutoring young children in science, technology, engineering, or math subjects Ability to lead outdoor activities safely while maintaining supervision and engagement Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students and collaborate effectively with colleagues Experience with special education needs or inclusive teaching strategies is a plus Background in theater or creative arts can enhance interactive storytelling during lessons Demonstrated leadership skills through previous youth program or camp experience Join us as a Robotics STEM Instructor and help shape curious minds into confident creators!
