Job Overview Join Ohio's Most Adventurous After School Program! Columbus Adventure Club is looking for energetic, positive, and dependable team members who love working with children and believe childhood should be filled with adventure—not screens. If you enjoy being outdoors, playing games, building relationships with children, and making a difference every day, we'd love to meet you! Duties Supervise and engage children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Ride and assist on our short bus while picking up students from Upper Arlington elementary schools. Create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for every Explorer. Lead and participate in outdoor games, sports, crafts, team-building activities, and adventures. Build positive relationships with children while encouraging kindness, confidence, leadership, and teamwork. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times. Help with daily setup, cleanup, attendance, and snack supervision. Communicate professionally with fellow staff and parents when needed. Skills Enthusiastic, energetic, and enjoys being active. Dependable and punctual. Positive, patient, and nurturing. A team player with strong communication skills. Passionate about helping children grow through play and exploration. Comfortable spending time outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Qualifications Experience working with school-age children is preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma required; college coursework in education, recreation, child development, or a related field is a plus. Must be able to pass FBI/BCI background checks. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (training opportunities available).
