We offer the experience of the game of tennis to all levels and ages, from total beginners to high level competitors. Under the supervision of the Club Manager, the Full-time Teaching Professional is responsible for promoting a positive image of the Company. School team coaches not eligible due to conflict of hours needed for the position. If you love tennis and are interested in a career in a great lifetime sport in a high energy atmosphere, Olympic Indoor Tennis Club in Columbus, Ohio, is looking to add to their current team. (Minimum 32 hours/week) Plan, teach, and take attendance for Club Programs of all ages and skill levels. Plan and teach Private Lessons. Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned. Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of teaching and/or coaching experience. Understand the importance of customer service and demonstrate great customer service skills. Strong teaching skills and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Love interacting with and getting to know people. Enjoy working with a team of instructors, sometimes being the lead Pro and sometimes working under a lead Pro. USPTA or PTR certifications or working toward them a bonus but not required. Safe Play certification mandatory. Cannot teach outside of Olympic Indoor Tennis during peak season without permission of management. Will coordinate summer schedule with Club Manager with regard to OIT hours and teaching location during Non-Peak season Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and criminal background check. As Olympic Indoor Tennis is a small business environment, there are opportunities to learn about all aspects of the operation. Tennis benefits for part-time and full-time employees, including complimentary Membership, discounted League and Program rates, and free court time to hit with immediate family members at designated times. Benefits include 401(k), medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and Life and AD&D Insurance for full-time employees. Hours vary throughout the 7-day week. Peak indoor season is 9/6/25 - 5/23/26. Non-Peak season of mid-May through August consists of different programming hours for all groups. .
