A Social Work Professor teaches foundational ideas, truths, and methods in social work to students through a combination of classroom instruction, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.

Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a Master's Degree in Human Services, Counseling, Social Work or a closely related field and one year of practical experience are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Teaching experience preferred.
