Available Assignments:

Resource Teacher (K-3): Guide a diverse group of approximately 30 students, focusing on their unique learning needs in a resource setting.

Self-Contained Teacher:

Work closely with a smaller group of about 15 students, providing comprehensive, structured support.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (required). Valid state teaching certification with Special Education endorsement. Experience developing and implementing IEPs for elementary-aged students. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and support staff. Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for empowering students with diverse learning abilities.

Role Responsibilities:

Create and execute individualized lesson plans tailored to student goals and learning styles. Monitor academic, behavioral, and social progress, documenting growth and implementing adjustments as needed. Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a cohesive support system. Foster a classroom environment that encourages inclusion, positivity, and respect.
