Desired Qualifications:

Current Special Education certification valid in Alabama Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field Previous experience working with elementary students in resource or self-contained settings Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to adapt lessons and materials to varying student needs Excellent communication with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide small group and individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals Monitor and document student progress toward objectives Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment Communicate proactively with families regarding student performance
