Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education Active teaching license in Special Education (or eligibility for licensure in Alabama) Previous experience with IEP development and progress monitoring Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and teams
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to a range of learning abilities Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success
