Key Details:

Full-time contract, 37.5 hours per week across 5 school days Work with elementary-aged students (K-6) Caseload includes a mix of collaborative teaching and self-contained, multi-needs students

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching credentials Experience with K-6 grade levels and diverse learning needs Knowledge of IEP/504 development and implementation Strong communication and classroom management skills Flexibility and adaptability in varied classroom settings

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver individualized education programs for students with special needs Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers Maintain detailed, compliant student records Provide ongoing progress monitoring and adapt instruction as necessary Partner with families and participate in IEP meetings
