Key Qualifications:

Current Special Education Teacher certification valid in Alabama Demonstrated expertise working with K-12 students in a school setting Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs), progress monitoring, and differentiated instructional strategies Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and update IEPs tailored to each students needs Deliver engaging, adapted lessons in individual, small group, and classroom settings Collect and report student data to guide instructional decisions Advocate for students needs and collaborate with fellow educators and support staff Maintain accurate documentation and participate in parent meetings and annual reviews This contract role is structured for 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing a healthy work-life balance and the ability to build a strong rapport with your caseload.
